What we keep when you visit the site, apply or make an account, why, and for how long.

Who we are

Talent4Match is a job site of WorkTrust, operated by Oravtia B.V. (KvK 98076051). Send questions about your data to hello@talent4match.nl.

What we keep

When you apply: your name, email address, phone number if you fill it in, your motivation, your CV if you add it (a PDF), the job and the site where you applied. We use your IP address only to limit abuse; we do not keep it with your application.

Your account on app.talent4match.nl

If you make an account, we keep your e-mail address and how you sign in (an e-mail address and password, LinkedIn or WorkTrust), the profile you fill in (name, headline, place, phone, about, work experience, education, skills, links, wishes), saved jobs, your own copy of your applications, and what you agreed to and when, including whether you want occasional news. Passwords are kept only as a hash by our sign-in provider (Supabase, in the EU). We keep it for as long as you have the account; when you delete it, all of it is erased and your applications are withdrawn from the companies.

Importing from WorkTrust

If you sign in with WorkTrust or connect it and allow it there, WorkTrust shares your own WorkTrust profile once: your name, headline, place, positions, skills and LinkedIn address. Nothing is added to your Talent4Match profile until you press Take over for a section; what you take over is marked as coming from WorkTrust. What WorkTrust shared waits for at most 30 days, until you take it over or press Done, and is deleted when you disconnect. We never receive your WorkTrust report, hours, sources or scores, and we keep no WorkTrust key.

Why

To pass your application to the company that posted the job, with your consent. Only that company can read it.

How long

Until four weeks after the job closes. If the job has no end date, six months after your application, and never longer than a year. Then it is erased, with your CV.

Website statistics

We count visits to talent4match.nl ourselves, in our own database (Supabase, in the EU). We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising tool, and we never share or sell these statistics.

What we keep for each page you open

  • The page address, without the part after the question mark.
  • The language of the page.
  • Where the visit came from, as a category: search engine, AI assistant, passport QR code, social media, e-mail, advertisement, another website or direct. Of the referring website we keep only its domain name.
  • Campaign words from utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign, if the link carried them.
  • The country, derived from the network, not your exact location.
  • The device type (desktop, mobile or tablet) and the names of your browser and operating system.
  • How many seconds the page was visible.

What we never keep

  • Your IP address.
  • Your full user-agent string.
  • The full address of the page you came from.
  • Anything you type.
  • Your name or e-mail address.

Cookies

We set two first-party cookies. wt_v is a random ID that shows whether a browser comes back; it lasts 13 months after your last visit. wt_s is a random ID for one visit; it ends 30 minutes after your last page. Our database stores them only as a hashed pseudonym.

These are analytics cookies with little impact on your privacy, used only for our own statistics and never shared. Under Dutch law (Telecommunicatiewet, article 11.7a) we therefore do not ask for consent; we tell you here and in a short notice.

You can stop the measuring at any time: press Don't measure me below or in the notice. We then delete your browser's earlier visits, set a cookie of our own (wt_off) that remembers your choice for 13 months, and count you no more. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we set no cookies and count the page without them. Deleting our cookies in your browser undoes your choice.

Bots that ask for a page, such as search engines and crawlers, are counted at our own server, per day and kind only. They never count as visitors.

We keep the individual page visits for 13 months. Then each day is summed into totals per day, page, source, country, device, browser and language, without pseudonyms, cookie IDs or single visits, and the visits themselves are deleted. Those totals are no longer about anyone, so we keep them.

Our legal basis is legitimate interest: understanding how the site is used and improving it.

We read aggregated search data (search terms, clicks and positions) from Google Search Console. This involves no tracking on our pages.

Your rights

You may view, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent. Email hello@talent4match.nl. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
